You go up, people say “impossible lah”, “scam lah”, “not logical lah”…

You study, people say “eh, so fast you finish studying? Is this real or not?”

That’s normal. These days, everyone can comment. But not everyone has the facts. And we’re not the type who needs to go live and show the whole world even when we go to the toilet.

So it’s no surprise people don’t see how hard it is for us to split time between work, studying, attending classes, doing assignments and all that…

My Achievements – Not Just Empty Talk

Recently I shared another personal achievement. I just completed my Master of Laws in Corporate Governance from University of Cumbria. A UK public university. Not bought. Not honorary. I really studied. Dissertation, classes, submissions — I did everything myself.

And yes, I’m also currently pursuing another PhD from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

Why Do I Study?

Why? For our beloved Malaysian netizens who love asking “does his PhD have accreditation? Does he even have the qualifications?”

There are also those who are lazy to study and find it strange that I love studying. I don’t study to look great. I study because I want to be more useful.

I study because I don’t want to talk empty. I want to help more entrepreneurs with proven knowledge & strategies.

And I know that when I study, I upgrade myself so I can keep helping more people achieve success.

I Build Real Businesses

I’m not the type who likes empty talk. Or an empty barrel, let alone an empty brain.

People wonder how I can continue studying but still manage so many businesses?

Because I didn’t just start doing business yesterday. Either I build businesses or I invest in businesses.

  • I’m a major shareholder of ManagePay (MPay) Systems Berhad – a company listed on Bursa Malaysia. MPay just launched the KTMB SuperApps that MPay built, launched by the Minister of Transport last week, and we also built the SuperApps platform for the Penang State Government 2 years ago.
  • I have an accounting firm from zero – now it has 4 branches in KL, JB, KB and Kuching. Growing slowly, managed by my partners.
  • I built WiraGo Express – an e-fulfillment warehouse to help TikTok/Shopee sellers manage storage, packing and shipping.
  • I have a licensed Factoring & Leasing company under Bank Negara licence.
  • I’m also a shareholder of Innovative Capital Berhad – 100% owner of Innovative University College.

Facts vs Slander

And one thing I want to correct…

Some insult me, claiming I sell “jajan jijan”.

I’ve repeated this many times: that product and brand was a practical example I created more than 12 years ago in one of my marketing class sessions, to teach how to create a brand and product packaging.

It never became a real business. But that’s normal… those who don’t know love spreading false stories. They love living with the sin of slander.

You Won’t Be Criticised If You’re Not Going Anywhere

But when you start building something, haters will show up.

I know who I am. I know my intentions.

I’m not chasing titles. I’m chasing impact.

I’ve helped tens of thousands of entrepreneurs and thousands of brands build businesses from zero to millions of ringgit. I don’t need recognition from anyone.

But I hope this writing inspires those who are working hard to rise.

Don’t give up if what you’re working on is looked down on or insulted.

If People Are Cursing You, Remember One Thing…

People more successful than you won’t have time to curse you.

People who curse you usually do it because they’re stuck and don’t know how to rise. And they’re bitter when you can rise.

So… just keep going. Stay quiet, upgrade, rise. Let the results answer everything.

My Contribution to Society

Late last night I just landed from Manchester, and this morning, before I could even rest, I flew to Kota Bharu to share knowledge with entrepreneurs under the Astro–SMEVaganza programme.

I paid for the flight myself and I’m not paid to share.

Because I believe in the principle and hadith of the Prophet SAW – The best of people are those who bring the most benefit to others.
