You’ve heard about this bird before, right?
The story of the only bird that dares to peck at the back of the mighty eagle?
Yes… the only bird with the guts to do it is the crow.
Picture this… the eagle — the symbol of strength, leadership and calm. It flies high, eyes fixed on the open sky, cutting through the clouds to reach the peak of its dreams.
Then a crow shows up, perches on its back, starts scratching, starts pecking, starts causing pain.
But here’s the question…
What does the eagle do?
- It doesn’t bite back.
- It doesn’t stop flying to put up a fight.
- It doesn’t turn around to scold or take revenge.
It does only one thing: it spreads its wings wider and keeps climbing higher.
Because the eagle knows… the higher it goes, the harder it is for that crow to breathe. The higher it climbs, the more the crow suffocates behind it — and in the end, the crow falls off on its own. No need to fight it. No need to answer it. No need to prove anything.
I want to say something to you, whether you’re reading this or listening to it…
In life and in business, there will always be “crows” trying to peck at your back.
- They attack when you’re on the way up.
- They talk when you start seeing results.
- They question you when you start getting known.
But don’t stop. Don’t break. Don’t come down.
If I, Datuk Wira Dr Azizan Osman, had entertained every ‘crow’ that ever pecked at my back…
I would never have reached where I am today. Because I chose to keep flying higher as an eagle. Not a crow. Whoever wants to be a crow that feeds on carcasses… let them!
- I chose to go higher.
- I chose to focus on my mission and my vision.
- I chose to keep fighting, instead of entertaining people who may never understand what we sacrificed.
To those of you being hit with words, insulted, questioned…
Remember one thing:
If nobody is trying to bring you down, that means you’re not high enough yet.
When you start rising… the noise will come. But you were not made to entertain noise. You were made to fly high.
Keep flying. Keep climbing, and let them fall on their own — suffocated by the hatred they created themselves.
My prayer is that you become the eagle. Fly high, fearless, never stopping.
