DON’T WAIT UNTIL YOU LOSE SOMEONE…

A little reflection from me, still up in the clouds on the flight home from the convocation in Manchester yesterday.

These past few months, I’ve lost a few Alumni — people I mentored more than 10 years ago.

Some I managed to visit before they took their last breath. Some I never got to meet again.

Time moves so fast. Today that moment came for them… and one day, it will come for all of us too.

Maybe we’ve met before. Maybe I was once your teacher, shared a bit of knowledge or guided you. Or maybe you only know me from afar.

I’m nobody special, and I’m not perfect either. But my fight since 18 years ago is still the same — to open up the belief that our people can do business, succeed, and build companies that benefit others.

To me, real victory isn’t just owning a luxury car or a big house.

Real victory is when an entrepreneur who used to struggle can finally help his parents, pay zakat, give sedekah, create jobs and change other people’s lives too.

That’s why I don’t want to see an entrepreneur fall and struggle alone.

Business today is full of opportunity, but the challenges are bigger too. Competition comes from all over the world, technology changes too fast, and AI is changing how we work and how we do business.

Those who last aren’t necessarily the biggest. It’s those willing to learn, to change and to adjust their strategy without losing their direction and their principles.

That’s why we at RichWorks launched the Alumni Bangkit movement through the RichWorks Alumni Telegram community, which is 100% free.

Here, we’ll share knowledge, the latest in business, learning sessions and special activities to help Alumni get back their direction, energy and momentum.

Recently, we also held a special session with Alumni at RichWorks HQ. Many came from all over the country, and some even came from Indonesia to learn, reconnect and rise together.

I hope there will be more sessions like this, so I can meet more Alumni, hear their journeys and keep reaching out to as many of them as I can.

Don’t wait until you lose someone before you appreciate them.

Don’t wait until you’re sick before you take care of your health.

Don’t wait until you fall before you go looking for knowledge.

Don’t wait until it’s all too late before you change.

As long as Allah still gives us breath, there’s still a chance to improve ourselves, our family, our business, and to do more good that benefits others.

If you’ve attended any RichWorks programme, especially IMKK or MMM, and you still haven’t joined the RichWorks Alumni Telegram, now is the time.
