10 years of coaching since 2016. This brand and its founder, Datin Dr Kartika (Dr Kay), have achieved a lot of transformation — and she recently became the main sponsor of Talk To My Manager 2.
Alhamdulillah, sales for the first 8 months of 2026 have already beaten 2025. A new record. But this is where the real challenge for a founder begins.
When a business grows fast, everyone sees the success.
But a founder sees the responsibility getting bigger.
More customers to look after, a team that has to move faster, and every decision now carries more weight for the future of the company.
In a 1-on-1 session with Dr Kay, I could see this business is sitting on very positive growth momentum.
Sales for the first eight months of 2026 are up by almost double digits and have already broken the full-year 2025 record.
Alhamdulillah, what Dr Kay and the team are doing is clearly delivering results. Behind it is effort, sacrifice and the courage to keep changing.
But as a mentor, my job is not just to celebrate the wins. My job is to help a founder see what needs to be built before the business goes further.
When sales go up and the market responds, it is easy to focus only on how to move faster. But the more important question is:
Is the organisation ready to support bigger growth?
The opportunity is there. But an opportunity only becomes growth when the organisation has the structure and the capability to execute it.
That is why we do not just look at how to increase sales. We also look at the numbers, structure, team, operations and the bottlenecks that need to be solved so the current momentum can carry on stronger.
Eskayvie is now building the next version of the company. For Dr Kay, this journey also means changing her role as founder.
From being the person who drives almost everything, to becoming a leader who builds the team, the systems and other leaders — so the business can grow without depending so much on her.
I understand this process is not easy. After so long being the one who thinks through and solves everything, letting go of part of that responsibility takes courage and trust.
But the bigger the organisation you want to build, the more responsibility has to be shared, and the more leaders you have to trust.
A founder cannot keep holding everything and at the same time expect the business to go further.
Eskayvie already has momentum. Now the focus is building an organisation mature enough to take it to the next level — because the real goal is not just higher sales.
The goal is to build a business strong enough to support bigger growth. Insha-Allah, we will lay it out one by one to close 2026 stronger.
